The Elton Show ist eine einmalige Show mit den größten Hits von Elton John – präsentiert vom international bekannten Sänger und Songwriter C.J. Marvin aus Australien.

CJ Marvin brilliert in der Rolle des Elton John: Er trägt die schrillen, bunten Kostüme, spielt live Klavier und singt. Vor allem aber legt er dieselbe feurige Energie an den Tag wie das Original.

Die Show deckt 4 Jahrzehnte unglaublicher Musik ab, von den 70ern bis heute mit  den größten Hits Elton Johns: vom zeitlosen „Your Song“ und Rocktiteln wie „SaturdayNight’s All Right for Fighting“ über „I’m Still Standing“, „Can you feel the love tonight?“, bis zu den letzten Aufnahmen vom Hitalbum „The Captain & the Kid“.

The Elton Show fängt den Spirit von Elton John derartig ein, dass man in seiner Show tatsächlich glaubt, es wäre Elton John selbst!

1984 war CJ persönlich zu Elton Johns Shows im Mailänder Theater Tenda-Palatrussardi eingeladen. Während Elton und seine Band auf die Limousinen in der Hotel-Lobby warteten, setzte sich CJ an den Flügel und begann Stücke von Elton John zu spielen. Nachdem Elton den improvisierten Auftritt von C.J. Marvin gehört hatte, meinte er: “Du bist der beste Interpret meiner selbst, den ich je gehört habe!”

Assieme al suo stile eccentrico ed alle performance energiche, egli e’ diventato una leggenda nel mondo della pop music. C.J. Marvin si esibisce brillantemente nel ruolo di Elton John vestendo i costumi sfarzosi e suonando il piano dal vivo. Lo show ricopre 4 decadi di musica inconfondibile, dagli anni ’70 ad oggi, presentando i piu’ grandi successi di Elton John; dall’intramontabile Your Song e rockers come Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting, passando per I’m Still Standing e Can You Feel The Love Tonight? , fino alle recenti melodie dell’album The Captain & the Kid. The Elton Show cattura tutta l’essenza di Elton John, e quando C.J. Marvin canta accompagnato dalla sua band e dai suoi coristi, pensereste che fosse proprio Elton stesso! Ma non prendeteci soltanto sulla parola. Nel 1984 C.J. fu invitato agli spettacoli di Elton al Teatro-Tenda Lampugnano di Milano. Mentre attendeva le limousine assieme ad Elton ed alla sua Band, C.J. si sedette al pianoforte e comincio’ a giocare con pezzi di brani di Elton. Dopo aver sentito la performance improvvisata del giovane C.J. Elton gli disse: “Tu sei il migliore me stesso che abbia mai sentito!” The Elton Show e’ una serata di spettacolare intrattenimento ed un saluto affezionato alla musica, energia, ad all’ anima del Rocket Man. Per un evento indimenticabile unitevi alla celebrazione di uno degli artisti piu’ iconici e piu’ amati del mondo.

The March on Rome!

After the long imposed break this year we are glad to announce a new confirmed open-air date on September 4, 2020, in Roccasecca dei Volsci (Latina), just South of Rome, for The Elton Show in one of its electric formats.

Location: Piazzale per la Pace fra i Popoli. Showtime: 21:45 h local.

Free entrance.

Reduced participation of 1000 allowed on a "first come, first served" basis, so make sure to be there early to guarantee yourself admittance to the event.

The Elton Show – Una Celebrazione del “Rocket Man” finalmente in Italia in occasione del decimo anniversario.

The Elton Show is a celebration of Elton John’s greatest hits performed by a group of international artists and managed and produced by Italian-Australian singer-songwriter C.J. Marvin. Uniquely entertaining and so much more than simply a “look-a-like” novelty act, this show joyfully re-creates the magical “spirit” of Elton John and his music. For millions of us, Elton’s Grammy-award winning songs have formed a part of the soundtrack of our lives over the changing decades. Together with his flamboyant style and dynamic performances, he has become a legend in the world of pop music. C.J. Marvin performs brilliantly as Elton John wearing the outrageous colourful costumes and playing live piano. The jewel in this unique production is the British drummer Charlie Morgan. He played with Elton John between 1985 and 1998, highlighted by the 1986 Tour De Force shows in Australia.
